Purple Ghost Stud Earrings
It’s time for spooky season! And you can’t have spooky season without ghosts.
Due to them being super popular last year, I’ve made a bunch of these super cute (not at all scary) spooky purple ghost stud earrings.
Please note, number 1 is a second and therefore reduced in price as it has a small mark below his eye.
Description
Purple Ghost Stud Earrings
Little clay ghosts were so popular last year, I’ve decided to bring them back this year but also with a twist!
These cute purple ghosts are a completely different shape to the ones from last year and make a cute ‘ooo’ face.
I told my husband about the shape of these ghosts and did an impression each time I mentioned them. Lets just say…if you could see me doing the impression now you’d be laughing!
There’s a few different designs for you to choose from as everything is hand mixed meaning your pair will not be the same as anyone else’s.
They earrings have surgical steel hypoallergenic stud ear backs which means they are suitable for sensitive wearers too.
There are more halloween pieces here and Autumnal pieces here.

The Quirky Process
The Purple Ghost Stud Earrings are hand made using a medium called polymer clay. This clay has been molded using a clay cutter and then baked to harden.
To get the gorgeous purple, white and silver colour, multiple clay colours have been mixed together to create a unique clay ‘slab’.
The ‘slab’ then has silver foil added into them to create a fab shimmer over the already purple glitter. The shine comes out even further when the layer of resin is added over the top.
They are then sanded to make their edges smooth. The polymer clay which is used to make these earrings allow for a statement which is super lightweight as it is not as heavy as typical clay ceramic.
By hand, I have added some cute little details to bring a personality to the little ghost stud earrings so each one is unique.
They then have a layer of resin to the front to create a lovely shine which also adds extra protection. They are also added to surgical steel hypoallergenic stud ear backs.
The ear backs are kind to skin and have a butterfly clasp.
Each item of jewellery at Wear It Quirky is made, packaged and shipped from Stoke-on-Trent; the heart of the Potteries! More specifically, the entire process takes place in my garage-come-craft-studio.
The jewellery is therefore designed and made entirely by hand by me, Victoria, making every single pair unique and truly special. I share lots of behind the scenes of the quirky process on Instagram and Facebook.
Please note because the jewellery is handmade, there may be slight differences from one to the other and sometimes, some slight imperfections.
