‘I’m dreaming of a white Christmas’

I feel as I’m getting old, White Christmases are becoming a thing of the past. So nowadays, the presence of snow, whether it be real or not is truly a special part of Christmas.

Is there anything more unique than a snowflake too. They’re so delicate and sweet when they fall and you manage to catch one, you can’t not love them. They’re such an enchanting life wonder.

Which is why, this year I decided to make my own white tree stud earrings using polymer clay.

Polymer clay is a medium which is extremely light weight, therefore these cute white tree stud earrings are perfect for anyone with sensitive ears.

Once I’ve made them using white glitter clay, I’ve added a layer of glitter paint to make them sparkle even more.

Coated in a layer of resin for that perfect finish, they’re then attached to hypoallergenic surgical steel studs for sensitive ears.

The Quirky Process

The sweet delicate white tree stud earrings are made from white glitter polymer clay. I have used a clay cutter to establish the snowflake shape.

I have then used acrylic paint to add on extra glitter to make them truly shine and sparkle.

They are then finished with a glossy shine of resin on both sides of the earrings and attached to great quality findings.

The ear closure a hypoallergenic surgical steel stud.

Each item of jewellery at Wear It Quirky are made, packaged and shipped from Stoke-on-Trent; the heart of the Potteries! More specifically, the entire process takes place in my garage-come-craft-studio.

The jewellery is therefore designed and made entirely by hand by me, Victoria, making every single pair unique and truly special. I share lots of behind the scenes of the quirky process on Instagram and Facebook.

Please note because the jewellery is handmade, there may be slight differences from one to the other and sometimes, some slight imperfections.

Pieces are made to order and dispatched within 3-5 working days from the date of purchase.

I try to make sure that the packaging used is either recyclable or re-usable. So when you do receive your package, if you could recycle as much as you can; that would be great.
